Traits and Abilities[]
Effect of Ra'Kaznar Metal F: Slows the rate at which Gartell's magic and physical defenses increase over time.

Debuffing Geomancy at 50% potency.
Takes 90% reduced damage from repeated weapon skills or blood pacts. This damage reduction is reset by using different weapon skills or blood pacts.
It's normal autoattacks have special properties
- Wind shot: Inflicts Choke and knocks back. Pierces shadows.
- Thunder strike: Inflicts Shock and stuns. Wipes shadows.
- Triple attack: Damage only.
Its current mode governs its abilities and weaknesses and is indicated by either a wind effect in its right hand or a thunder effect in its left hand. Hitting an elemental weakness procs blue '!!.' Following this trigger, it will change modes the next time it uses one of two TP moves.
- In Wind Mode, it will absorb buffs from targets in range of Chokehold. In this mode Ice damage is effective.
- In Thunder Mode, it will reflect debuffs cast on it to nearby targets with Zap. In this mode Earth damage is effective.
- 50 seconds after engaging, it will change its active mode. Every 60 seconds thereafter, it may switch modes.
5 1/2 minutes after engaging, Gartell enters "both hands" mode. Wind and Thunder effects on both hands, loses all magic damage type vulnerabilities and has access to all its abilities. This mode ends after ~3 minutes.
Gartell periodically spawns Zisurru on its current target. Up to 16 Zisurru can be active at once. These fetters pulse for elemental damage and inflict Choke/Shock every few seconds and cannot be targeted or damaged by players in any way. They remain for the duration of the encounter. Zisurru damage is greatly increased during "both hands" mode.
Wind Mode
- Tearing Gust: deals damage, inflicts Magic Defense Down and knocks back
- Chokehold: inflicts silence, weight, Choke, and pulls affected targets in. Gartell's version also absorbs 2 buffs from players.
- Shrieking Gale: deals damage and knocks back. Switches Gartell to Thunder Mode.
Thunder Mode
- Concussive Shock: deals damage, inflicts Slow and Stun
- Zap: Inflicts plague and amnesia. Reflects a single negative status ailment back at the party. This can reflect a helix at its current damage over time strength.
- Undulating Shockwave: deals magic damage. Switches Gartell to Wind Mode.
