Walkthrough

If you have completed Wings of the Goddess and A Forbidden Reunion

• Simply examine the ??? by the maws in Batallia Downs, Rolanberry Fields, or Sauromugue Champaign for a cutscene, your reward, and transportation to the Walk of Echoes.
  • You can do this immediately after completing Cauterize. Simply re-examine the same ???. No zoning is required.

If you have not completed Wings of the Goddess

• Zone into Southern San d'Oria (S), to meet with Lilisette. You can use a Home Point, Survival Guide, Retrace, or Instant Retrace.The earliest you can activate this cutscene is with the mission In the Name of the Father active, immediately after finishing Purple, The New Black.
  • Even though the Mission Orders state you must meet Lilisette, you can't get the cutscene with A Timeswept Butterfly currently active because she'll be en route to or inside La Vaule (S).
  • If you have only completed up to Cait Sith (Mission), it will take an additional 3+ hours for San d'Oria/Windurst or 4+ hours for Bastok to get up to In the Name of the Father. This can be shaved by over an hour if one already has the relevant Survival Guides and/or Campaign warps.
  • Lilisette will not be available if you are currently undertaking one of the following Wings of the Goddess missions.
  • Cavernous Maws / Back to the Beginning / Cait Sith / The Queen of the Dance / While the Cat is Away / On Thin Ice / Proof of Valor / A Sanguinary Prelude / Dungeons and Dancers / Distorter of Time / The Will of the World / Adieu, Lilisette / By the Fading Light / Edge of Existence / Her Memories / Forget Me Not / Pillar of Hope / Glimmer of Life / Time Slips Away / When Wills Collide / Whispers of Dawn / Where It All Began* / A Token of Troth* / Lest We Forget*
    • If you start the mission Where It All Began by completing Maiden of the Dusk, you must finish the Wings of the Goddess storyline, Champion of the Dawn, and A Forbidden Reunion to continue.
  • If you meet all the above requirements and still are not getting the cutscene, try examining the ??? by the maws in Batallia Downs, Rolanberry Fields, or Sauromugue Champaign and then zoning into Southern San d'Oria (S) to meet with Lilisette in a cutscene.
• Click on a ??? by the Maw in either Batallia Downs, Rolanberry Fields, or Sauromugue Champaign and select the option go to raise your lightsworm, then run up and examine the ornate door for a cutscene.
  • Optionally, you may use the Veridical Conflux in Pashhow Marshlands (S) if you are on the Voidwatch Mission Provenance.
  • Make sure you have space to receive the Cipher for Lilisette in order to continue. The system will not allow you to proceed forward without receiving the cipher.
    • In case you miss the Cipher, you can retrieve it by checking the Mystic Retriever at M-5, on the way to the Southern San d`Oria Mog House.
