Foil's special attack evasion applies only to monster TP moves that cause physical damage. Magical damage attacks and attacks which only inflict status effects are not affected by Foil's protection. Naturally, if a TP move that does physical damage and has an additional effect of a status effect will not inflict it if it misses thanks to Foil.
Foil's enmity generation is quite high, so it is a common tool for Rune Fencers to snap enmity from multiple targets in one cast.
Foil's effects will overwrite weak Evasion Down effects, but will be overwritten by very powerful sources of Evasion Down.
Foil's evasion potency is independent of the caster's Enhancing Magic skill.[1]Other Uses[]
