This guide contains gear choices for the aspiring Ninja. I am aware that there are

many other choices suitable for the job at given levels. What i have picked out are the ones

that are most noteworthy only. That is, they will allow the player to be as versatile as possible.

Also, NIN gear below 30 is pretty basic and there's not much special about it, save a few exceptions. So those

will have to be chosen at the player's discretion.

Weapon[]

As a general rule, once you get Dual Wield at level 10, find a main hand weapon with the highest damage for that level and use a low delay weapon with some kind of enhancement (additional effects poison/defense down, spell interruption rate, parry, evasion, etc.) in the offhand. I will list the most notable Katanas here.

84		Abyssea - Misareaux Sobek 100% drop and an extremely strong offhand to replace Perdu.
85		Trial of the Magians Trial 1509 : 50 Helm of Briareus Trial 2094: 50 Sobek's Skin This is an incredible boost to NIN offensive. Inside abyssea, Blade: Hi will average 3-4k on a decently geared NIN with spikes around 5-6K. Outside, Jin is still favored simply because Hi relies so heavily on a critical strike.

There's a few RSE items that are worth using till the Bomb Core is accessible, so choose one with DEX or STR to tide you over.

90	Koga Hatsuburi +2 [Head] All Races DEF: 29 HP +38 Accuracy +9 Evasion +9 Dusk to Dawn: Parrying Skill +12 Enhances Ninjutsu damage Lv. 90 NIN	Trial of the Magians Trial 4774 - 50 Forgotten Thoughts Trial 4775 - 30 Forgotten Thoughts This piece gives an amazing 10% Magic Attack Bonus to Ninjutsu. The augmented next tier also gives 5% extra damage per merit into San elemental.
95		Synergy : Adept Clothcraft : Artisan Bonecraft : Initiate Elemental Balance: 40 48 2 x Giant Bird Plume 1 x Khimaira Mane 1 x Whetted Molar 1 x Twill Damask As tempting as this may be for a TP piece, the AF3 +2 is better due to the Dual Wield. However, this is an amazing Blade: Hi ws piece.

	The key item to this set, of course.	Blade: Hi Access
	This is the preferred sub Katana due to the increase in critical hit damage, which is what makes Hi really hit those high numbers.	Increases Critical Hit Damage

	These certainly don't beat the stats of Hachiryu Sune-Ate, but at 5K on the AH, they sure beat the price tag or effort to obtain them. That being said, if you have the Sune-Ate, they are obviously superior.	WS Mod: AGI Crit Mod: DEX
