Historical Background

In Samoan mythology, Fe'e is the god of war. He was depicted as a huge octopus. He lived on the ocean floor and his tentacles could reach to all corners of the world (similar concept to Jormungand, the world serpent, which encircles the world). His voice was believed to cause thunderstorms.
