Tips[]
- Keep the Doll Factory away from the rest of the party to avoid issues with AoE spells.
Working Job Combinations[]
PLD, WHM, RDM/NIN, BRD (or a second RDM), and 2 DD (preferably BLU or DRK)
Tank + Kiting method[]
Preferred Setup: RDM/NIN, BRD (or a second RDM), WHM, PLD, 2 DD (BLU or DRK)
Strategy:
The tank and kiter will need poison potions.
The RDM will be focused on crowd control. Dolls are difficult to sleep but gravity and bind works. The RDM/NIN kites the doll factory around the arena, the generic dolls are pulled to the hallway for the awaiting party. The Bard or non-kiting RDM sits closest to the doll factory and keeps an eye out for pops, which got to be pulled ASAP. There is little else known about the doll factory except it must be kept alive for the generic dolls and away from the main party. As soon as all 5 generic dolls are down, it will use meltdown, which will probably kill your kiter.
The generic dolls love to use the move Typhoon, which does ninja tanks no favors so you need a paladin tank. Most, if not all, of the dolls TP moves are stunnable, so this is a fight where a DRK or BLU will shine. The DRK should be using Arcane Circle as soon as it is available. The main goal is to kill the generic dolls as quickly as possible, as time is an issue in the BCNM.
Generic Dolls can be paralyzed and slowed, but they will build an resistance to those spells quickly. They have between 1500 to 2000 HP each.
Strategy Pros:
- Typhoon will eat 3 shadows, everything else ignores shadows or are single-target so the PLD tank has an advantage.
