Article for Deletion

Delete: Original creator of the guide requested to have it deleted. With respect to the creator's wishes it should be deleted. --Wayka †Talk† 21:30, 6 October 2007 (UTC)

Resolution - Keep:
As before, the fact that a user quits does not require deletion
of all their edits. --GAHOO t/c 12:56, 7 September 2007 (CDT)
--CharitwoTalk 21:41, 6 October 2007 (UTC)

Delete: There is a difference between that and when a user actually requests that it be deleted. Do no resolve deletion discussions without adequate discussion. That is what the point of a discussion is for. --Wayka †Talk† 21:46, 6 October 2007 (UTC)

Comment: This was already discussed this morning amongst the other administrators, look at the time between his page blank and the time I restored the info. Believe me this decision is not unfounded. The resolution stands. --CharitwoTalk 21:49, 6 October 2007 (UTC)

Comment: The entire database was locked today so no one could revert it or discuss it for a period of time today. That includes every article on the page. --Wayka †Talk† 21:51, 6 October 2007 (UTC)

Comment: The fact of the matter is the creator did not request it for deletion, he blanked the page and "did not permit us to use this guide". Which is a violation of GFDL, under which this and other work submitted here is released under. --CharitwoTalk 22:19, 6 October 2007 (UTC)

Delete: No longer will be updated, and extremely out of date. I want it deleted. --Zero 02:08, 8 October 2007 (UTC)

Delete: I am sure Zero meant to kindly request its deletion rather than making demands where demands can not be met no matter how much you think they should be. I had my guide deleted once, and I asked nicely, and they did it. It is an out of date guide and never has been a great one, in my opinion, but that as I said is just my opinion and if he strongly wishes it gone who are we to say "No, keep this" which would eventually be inaccurate and out of date and in the end something that is more of a hindrance to future WHMs, than help like a guide should be. I wouldn't want that to happen. So I vote for Deletion. --Birgitte 02:25, 8 October 2007 (UTC)

Resolution: Resolution of second discussion: Delete. Author has abandoned an incomplete and largely out of date guide. --Chrisjander t/ c 02:29, 8 October 2007 (UTC)
