Article for Deletion

Keep: Same issue as with Vulcan's Ring - it is listed in other sources of information for Final Fantasy, and THEY do not note that it is not in the DAT files. Where would someone find this information if not here. Just add the information that the item does not exist but leave the page in here. Everything else on the Vulcan's Ring discussion page. --Gisselle 03:15, 8 September 2007 (CDT)

Delete: If the item does not exist in game, or in the dat files, it is not part of the game, and therefor is not related to FFXI. If it isn't in the dats, keeping this would be the same as keeping a made up item, which we dont' allow. --Chrisjander t/ c 09:52, 8 September 2007 (CDT)

Delete: Verified item is no longer/never was in the DATs so no evidence that this was available exists. --Wayka †Talk† 12:44, 8 September 2007 (CDT)

Delete: This item, the HQ rings, and others removed from the DATs no longer have a place in FFXIclopedia. We only make exceptions for items found in the DATs but not in-game, but they must have a {{Datfilesonly}} tag. --CharitwoTalk 17:39, 8 September 2007 (CDT)

Support Delete: I see Gisselle's logic, but I think it better to have a hard line rule on these. I mean how long would something have to be in the dats and then removed to qualify for an article? Better to have it be - in dats, gets a dats article. Not in dats - its as good as a fake. Now what might be interesting would be an article which discusses the history of these items, which would then come up in a search. --GAHOO t/ c 21:46, 8 September 2007 (CDT)

Resolution: Delete. --CharitwoTalk 04:20, 24 September 2007 (UTC)
