Etude is a type of Song used by a Bard. It has no Area of Effect, and can only be cast on one person at a time. Etudes boost the primary stats of STR, DEX, VIT, AGI, MND, INT, and CHR.

Effect[]
The lower level Etudes give a static boost to a specific stat, which caps at +9 at ??? combined skill, below the natural skill caps for BRD75.
+3 with Singing Skill 105-114 on a BRD subjob.
The higher level Etudes give a bonus which gradually decreases over time at a rate of one point per 10 seconds until the song expires. The initial bonus reaches +15 at 475 combined skill, which requires +25 String and/or Singing skill from equipment or merits over the natural caps at BRD75.
Instruments that give a bonus to Etude add one to the attribute bonus for each +1.
