Walkthrough
- This quest is the second of several quests involved in the upgrade of Mythic Weapons.
- Paparoon will present you with several tasks. He will also give you the five items required for the Assault task.
- Note: if you do not have 5 spaces available in your Gobbiebag prior to talking to Paparoon, he will yell at you when you ask about Assault Memoirs, and your accepting of the quest will be canceled. Make space, and talk to him again.
- The tasks are as follows:
Holy Relics
- Acquire Balrahn's Eyepatch and trade it to Paparoon.
- Balrahn's Eyepatch is purchased from Kilusha in Nashmau with 100,000 Therion Ichor from Einherjar.
Wyrmseeker of Areuhat
- Acquire the Wyrmseeker Areuhat and trade it to Paparoon.
- Wyrmseeker Areuhat is purchased from Zasshal in Aht Urhgan Whitegate at (K-9) for 150,000 Tokens from Nyzul Isle. This option is not available at Zasshal until you have begun this quest.
Assault Memoires
- Successfully record Assault missions by trading the appropriate item to the Rune of Release after clearing the mission.
- Mamool Ja Training Grounds assault missions must be recorded in the Mamool Ja Journal.
- Lebros Cavern assault missions must be recorded in the Lebros Chronicle.
- Leujaoam Sanctum assault missions must be recorded in the Leujaoam Log.
- Periqia assault missions must be recorded in the Periqia Diary.
- Ilrusi Atoll assault missions must be recorded in the Ilrusi Ledger.
- The assault memoires have a tag ("<---------->") that indicates which assaults have been recorded. Each "-" represents one assault, and its position from right to left indicates the level of the assault. Private Second Class is the rightmost "-", and First Lieutenant is the leftmost "-". Once an assault has been recorded, the "-" for that assault is replaced with a "*".
- Assault memoires may be turned in one at a time as you finish them. You do not need to hold them all if you have obtained "*" on all "pages". Ex. After recording all Assault Missions in Ilrusi Atoll, trade the Ilrusi Ledger to Paparoon and he will keep it.
- Be careful when recording your progress on each of these books. There is a glitch that prevents you from gaining credit if you open the chest before trading your book to the rune of release. It will require you to trade multiple times before your progress is recorded. When correctly traded, a message will display saying your book was returned to you.
Alexandrite Gems
- Acquire 30,000 Alexandrite.
- Alexandrite drops from Archaia in Salvage.
- Alexandrite pouches containing a random amount of Alexandrite drop from Notorious Monsters in Salvage.
- Cotton Coin Purse - dropped by level 35 armor NMs - yields 5 ~ 20 Alexandrite.
- Linen Coin Purse - dropped by a chariot boss - yields 50 ~ 99 Alexandrite.
Conclusion
- After trading the last of your items, speak to Paparoon again. After a brief cutscene, he will give you Paparoon's Sealed Invitation and send you to talk to the Empress at the Imperial Palace in Aht Urhgan Whitegate.
