Notes/Description
- Drains approximately between 1 and 50% of damage dealt by a normal attack, the bigger the hit, the higher the drain.
- Resistance comes into play, higher level monsters will get drained for less.
- You must do at least 2 damage for the drain effect to trigger on your hit.
- The damage drained is additional to that of your attack. Therefore, if your final strike kills the mob before the effect can hit, it will not drain.
- Hitting for 0 will still inflict Drain Daze on the target, allowing other members of your party to drain.
- Players outside of party will not gain a drain effect from Drain Samba, (Tested via Call for Help), alliance members will not benefit.
- Automatons (all pets? ) will not gain a drain effect from Drain Samba.
- Drain Daze is a debuff status on the enemy, it lasts about 5 seconds at which point you'll receive a message "The Monster's Drain Daze effect wears off.
- If you continue to hit it, the timer on the daze will reset, if your accuracy is low and you miss several in a row the effect will wear off.
- Like other Drain spells, Drain Samba is ineffective against Undead.
- Does not activate on weapon skills.
- Does not activate if the additional effect on a weapon activates.
- Has a Variable Cap to the amount drained. Cap is dependent on weapon delay. Slow effects do raise your drain cap.
