Base potency of the spell depends exclusively on Dark Magic Skill. It can drain more than the caster's current missing HP, and can drain for more than the target's remaining HP. Grants a temporary Max HP Boost status based on the drained HP amount in excess of the caster's current maximum HP.

• Drained amount falls within a range below a maximum amount and above 1/2 of that maximum amount, before equipment, weather and magic burst bonuses/multipliers.
  • 0~300 skill: m potency is floor(skill/3 + 20)
  • 300+ skill: base potency is approximately floor(skill * 1.35)
• The Max HP Boost bonus is overwritten by the effects of Giant's Drink.
  • The status effect duration is affected by the augment on Dark Knight Relic equipment.
