- The bonus from Dark Staff/Pluto's Staff affects both accuracy and amount of HP drained, making it roughly equivalent to the Dark Magic spell, Drain.
- The bonuses from weather/day effects and Anrin Obi affect both accuracy and amount of HP drained.
- INT does not affect the accuracy of this spell.
- A positive Monster Correlation (when used against Birds), or a negative Monster Correlation (when used against Aquans), only affects accuracy. It will not affect the amount of HP drained.
- Is not enhanced by Mavi Basmak +1 Burst Affinity effect after several tests because it's modified by Blue Magic Skill not MND, INT, or CHR.
