Walkthrough
Warning: The Fistful of homeland soil can only be obtained after flagging the quest.
- Speak to Sylvie at (I-5) in Western Adoulin (Waypoint Adoulin Waterfront) with your main job at level 30 or higher to begin the quest.
- Obtain a Petrified Log and a Fistful of homeland soil.
- Your Fistful of homeland soil can be obtained by checking the "Ergon Locus ???" under the stairs of the telepoint from the crag associated with your home nation (i.e. San d'Oria = Holla, Windurst = Mea, and Bastok = Dem).
- Trade the Petrified Log to Sylvie with the Fistful of homeland soil in your inventory to obtain your Luopan.
- Go to Ceizak Battlegrounds (K-10) where there is a small island just off the coast to find the Ergon Locus.
- Use the /heal command next to the Ergon Locus. Rest until you see the following message:
- "You feel a mystical warmth welling up inside you!"
- Note: It can take up to 8 minutes for the message to appear.
- Return to Sylvie to obtain the Geomancer job, an Indi-Poison plate, and a Matre Bell.
- Warning: The Matre Bell is one of the few Handbells in the game, so do not discard it. You can re buy the Handbell for 300000 gil or 150000 bayld, by speaking to Sylvie as a Geomancer as your main job.
