The Coastal Fishing Net is available for use in your Mog Garden after completing the quest Coastal Chaos. Every earth day, you can raise your net, collecting multiple fish.
- Upgrade key items can be purchased from Zenicca for bayld, or from Skipper Moogle for gil.
- Upgrades become available depending on the total number of real-life days in which your net is raised.
- Rank 5 is only available after expending 100 imprimaturs doing Coalition Assignments.

Yields
- Instructing Susuroon to "go after a whopper" will improve the chances of yielding large fish.
- Instructing Susuroon to "aim for a minnow" will improve the chances of yielding small fish.
- Raising the net will yield 1 item plus 1 for every rank, to a maximum of 8 at rank 7.
- Instructing Susuroon to "catch something" will yield 1 item.
- All items caught are randomly chosen from every rank, up to your current rank.
If higher-rank fish can be caught with a lower-rank Coastal Fishing Net, please move that fish down. If you catch anything with Susuroon on his whopper/minnow instruction, please tally your results in the Talk page.
