Further Notes
  • Attack power seems to increase with number of buffs absorbed by Contagion Transfer, regardless of whether or not the buffs absorbed are related to strengthening attacks (with 8-10 buffs absorbed, melee attacks will start hitting for 800-1000~ and critting for 1200-1500~).
  • It is advised to avoid positioning multiple party members in front of Chickcharney and avoid using multiple JA/spell buffs on the melee, especially Retaliation and Counterstance which can cause sudden rapid damage to the tank if not immediately dispelled. Note as well that Sound Vacuum's mute effect will temporarily prevent the usage of Utsusemi as a defense.

Historical Background[]

Chickcharney, Chickcharnie or Chickcharnee is a mythical and cryptozoological creature resembling a bird, specifically an owl, that lives in the forests of Andros Island in the Bahama Islands. According to some, it is furry, feathered, about 3 feet tall and is considered ugly looking. In common legend, if a traveler meets a chickcharney and treats it well, he/she will be rewarded with good luck. But, treating a chickcharney badly will result in bad luck and hard times.
