Walkthrough
Windurst
NOTE: You must zone after completing the previous quest before you can start this quest.
- Talk to Tosuka-Porika who tells you there is another overdue book.
- And then go talk to Furakku-Norakku behind the counter in the same room.
- Furakku-Norakku tells you that Hae Jakkya at the Windurst Woods Auction House has an overdue romance novel called "A Song of Love".
- Talk to Hae Jakkya at I-12 in Windurst Woods. She gets angry and tells you that it's not her book. (This is mandatory!)
- Auction House employees An Shanaa and An Polaali will remark on how their boss is a closet romantic after this point in the quest.
- Return to Furakku-Norakku who reads back the library card, which shows that the person you need to find is not Hae Jakkya the Mithra in Windurst, but Hae Jakhya, the Mithra in San d'Oria. (Note: You can skip this last part and go straight to San d'Oria)
San d'Oria and Back
- Travel to Southern San d'Oria and talk to Hae Jakhya (G-9) and receive the overdue library book, "A Song of Love".
- Note: To get to Hae Jakhya you have to go upstairs at F-8
- Consider getting a Frost Turnip in San d'Oria. They have a standard merchant that can sell them depending on nation rank. The turnip is used in the next quest in the series.
- Return the book to Furakku-Norakku for your reward.

Summary:
- The Library of Magic wants you to help retrieve its overdue library books. In this case, Hae Jakkya, that Mithra who runs the auction house in Windurst Woods, has checked out the book "A Song of Love", but has failed to return it by the due date.
