If you have started Wings of the Goddess missions[]
- Click on the ??? by the maws in either Batallia Downs, Batallia Downs (S), Rolanberry Fields, Rolanberry Fields (S), Sauromugue Champaign, or Sauromugue Champaign (S) for a cutscene with Cait Sith that allows you to skip to Ganged Up On.
- Cait Sith will not be available if you are currently undertaking one of the following Wings of the Goddess missions:
- Cavernous Maws (see below) / Back to the Beginning / Where It All Began / A Token of Troth / Lest We Forget*
- If you are on Lest We Forget, YOU MUST complete Champion of the Dawn to continue
- If available to you, A Forbidden Reunion will also hinder your progression. It is performed at the same conflux in Grauberg. You will need to zone out of the conflux and back in again.
- Cait Sith will not be available if you are currently undertaking one of the following Wings of the Goddess missions:
If you have not started Wings of the Goddess missions[]
- Complete the second WotG mission of your nation, including the 3 required quests that follow after that.
- Now click on any Jeuno-area maw, past or present, to get a cutscene that will flag Cait Sith (Mission).
- At the end of the Cait Sith (Mission) cutscene, there will be a quick cut that leads immediately to this RoV mission's cutscene. When it is done, you will have flagged Uncertain Destinations.
- It will take approximately one to two hours to finish up to Cait Sith (Mission) depending on travel time and chosen nation. San d'Oria starting with Steamed Rams is easily the fastest due to short missions with minimal travel and because you'll need to go to Southern San d'Oria (S) and La Vaule (S) for some of the main missions. Always remember to click every Survival Guide you see.
- It's best to finish up to In the Name of the Father to be done with Wings of the Goddess prerequisites (takes about two more hours for a total three to four) and not progress further in that expansion until you finish to a minimum of Of Light and Darkness (no longer need Lilisette) or, ideally, Sin (Mission) (no longer need Cait Sith).
