I was wondering about something and it's not on the main page. If your Key Item shatters, is there a waiting period to obtain a new one? Mine hasn't broken yet, but if anyone knows, this information might be good for the main page. Also, when under 75 and using /heal (while in possession of the key item) does the chat log state the same directions? I had noticed about level sync not working, wasn't sure about just being under 75 period. Theode 23:16, March 26, 2010 (UTC)

  • On color change. Seems to be random. I have killed Tier Is 5 times in North Gustaberg with other half, mine changes on 4 kill, hers did not change after 5 kills. We have fought both of the Tier I pops so it may be truly random.~*~Darkillusion ~*~ 09:43, March 24, 2010 (UTC)

Would appear to be truly random.

Ragnarok had emergency maintenence on some of the zones listed, i don't know if this had anything to do with the repop timers on these mobs, but it may be being worked on. Theode 07:28, March 24, 2010 (UTC)

  • Also someone should make up a table or something for experience gained. Experience gained seems to be different for these mobs than regular ones. I gained 198xp duo without signet, while a friend had signet gained the same. So far all i can remember is 300 solo and 198 duo. Theode 07:43, March 24, 2010 (UTC)

Popped around to most old world zones, looks like the chart may be complete. It's possible you can only hunt VNMs in zones where the two time-worlds intersect. --Baroness 01:00, March 24, 2010 (UTC)

There is only one of each Tier II in each zone (Capricornus x1 Yacumama x1) Each of the 2 Tier II's takes one hour to repop. VNM only spawn in area's with a Maw. --Meridius

  • There must be some other conditions for respawn that actual ToD then. My group searched in East Ronfaure/East Ronfaure [S]/Jugner Forest [S] and in each zone only able to find 1 of each Tier II. --Meridius

The repop on individual tier 2s PER zone is, in fact, 1 hour. But there are multiple tier 2s up per zone.

Random fact from unexperienced editor, having the popper drop party before the nm dies will not prevent your abyssite from evolving. recommended having your popper logout if you do not wish to evolve your abyssite.


=Color Correlation

We should try to track whether the Abyssite Shattering is dependant on the color of tha abyssite vs the mob popped, that way we can see if we need to color code the chart, or if its random. So far, my LS has found the following: Orcus: Shattered Brown Abyssite Krabkatoa: Shattered Blue Abyssite Yilbegan: Shattered Black Abyssite Edit above, or add your replies. --Dracko 03:10, March 24, 2010 (UTC)

  • Did you use, say, a Brown Abyssite to pop a mob from another zone? Is that the kind of thing you want us to look into? Or say, "This mob always generates this colour abyssite, which should only be used to pop this type of next tier." --Baroness 04:10, March 24, 2010 (UTC)

From what I can see none of the Tier I mobs drop anything, their only purpose being to change your Clear Abyssite to a Colored one for hunting Tier IIs. --Darkguru 10:44, March 24, 2010 (UTC)

Interesting to note, while under level sync the abyssite's messages do not appear. Which leads me to believe you can not pop the VNMs under sync. Not to say you'd want to, more of a "not to fear resting in certain areas". Wyuli 00:51, March 25, 2010 (UTC)

multiple abysite

i find out that i can have multiple abysite on temp key item, cos i can bought a new clear abysite after getting the yellow abysite.

what i want to know is how to use the yellow abysite when i need it? cos now always getting input only from the clear abysite (which i change into colorful abysite just now).

2nd question would be, is really only the popper can upgrade an abysite? even from clear to colorful need each and everyone to pop to get a chance? (that will make clear-->colorful need to be soloed...) --VC-Hijikata 11:41, March 28, 2010 (UTC)

New Layout

I was bored and decided to redo the layout a bit based on the ZNM page, I haven't made it official yet, but check it out at User:IHM/VNMTemp, if people like it, I'll post it up, its the initial progression one like the ZNM page. Next I'll probably work on a drop related chart. --IHM
