On some charts like Scythe, the elements don't line up to thier corresponding WS under certain resolutions. Perhaps someone skilled with wiki could correct this to all resolutions with some sort of cleaner chart.
The higher level avatar pact elements are still unknown. Eg. Predator Claws (Garuda) has Fragmentation (and probably a single sub element). If any SMNs on Cerberus wanna do some duoing to find out these elements, drop me a line on wiki or in game :D
I'm just going to through this out there but has anyone try to Skillchain with two relics before? like Onslaught (Relic Axe) and Metatron Torment (Relic Great Axe) Reason I ask this is because Onslaught has darkness base weapon skill and Metatron Torment has light base weapon skill. Maybe it makes Cosmic Elucidation a level 4 skill chain and magic burst with all 8 elements? I don't know but would be cool to find out but its hard to find people with relics... Redundancy, among other things
Listed under the single element properties of a WS you might find something like this:
* Associated with the element Earth and slashing damage. * Found mostly on slashing Weapon Skills which cleave the target.
Is it necessary to have a line saying that it's earth and slashing, followed by a line stating it's found in slashing weapon skills? Or even better, to say that Detonation has a wind element, then a separate line stating that it's found in wind-element weapon skills? I am going to remove these lines as I think they are unnecessary, and usually common sense, and the page is very large to begin with, however if there is disagreement then feel free to revert it.
On another note, it is stated that "A" overwrites "B" overwrites "C" which is true. However, if "A" and "B" elements can be combined to form a skillchain, and the same WS is used twice in a row, what is the result?
For example, Dancing Edge has column "A" as scission, and column "B" as detonation. Scission -> Detonation = Detonation, yet Detonation -> Scission = Scission. Does "A" overwrite "B" for the first weaponskill or the second? (Or perhaps neither and a skillchain fails to happen?) --Beaster 01:59, 22 June 2008 (UTC)
Max number of consecutive skillchains
I noticed on the Skillchain page it states that we are only able to perform 5 skillchains consecutively all together. However, I have evidence of a player from another server doing 6 skillchains (7 WS's) by himself.
Weaponskills + Skillchains:
Tachi: Jinpu > Tachi: Gekko > (Reverbation) > Tachi: Yukikaze > (Induration) > Tachi: Kasha > (Compression) > Tachi: Yukikaze > (Detonation) > Tachi: Kasha > (Gravitation) > Tachi: Gekko > (Darkness)
Regarding max number of Skillchains.
Seeing as no one disputed my evidence, I removed the text stating that we were only able to perform 5 consecutive Skillchains together (6 weaponskills). Belmung 18:34, 20 November 2008 (UTC)
I'm not sure what is being done to this page, but the version of the charts before the 17:16, 5 March 2009 update was MUCH easier to navigate through, took much less time to load... So on. I'm not sure if what's on the page now is the finished product, but I think it might be nice to revert if it's still unfinished. If this is the finished version... it would be nice if someone doubled up the tables again. I'd rather not do anything because - ignoring the fact that I'd probably mess it up somehow - I'm not sure what's happening with this page. Nuilvian 02:33, 12 March 2009 (UTC)
Something is up with the distortion icons and there are alignment tags not getting processed all over the page. I tried to figure out the problem to no avail. Karuma 00:07, 21 August 2009 (UTC)
Hello, I’m new to the WIKI. Looks like this topic has been completely ignored. I attempted this with blu using circle blade and battle dance. Skillchain was only produced on the target. So skillchain properties must only affect the target and not other mobs within area of effect. ;( Disappointed!! --Xyni 17:21, March 22, 2010 (UTC)
Regarding Max number of Skillchains
Appearently there is no limit on how many skillchains you can do, however, the damage multipliers seem to be resetted after the fifth skillchain, making the sixth deal 100% of the original weapon skill when it's a level 3 skillchain. That means, after doing 5 skillchains, the next ones will do as same damage as if it was 1st, then 2nd, and so on.
Changing the page
I'm changing the "List of Weapon Skills and Abilities With Weapon Skill Attributes" section to reflect the alphabetical order on the Weapon Skills page. I've made backups of the original page in case nobody likes it. --Dioxide
