Added Voidwatch/Fixed Abyssea

I just added in Voidwatch key items and linked 'Abyssea' to the abyssea key items page. I'm not sure why someone had it linking to the abyssea category. Dragomair (talk) 03:29, July 18, 2013 (UTC)

Are we adding images to the key item pages? --Pinkfae 12:51, 23 August 2006 (EDT)

Considering key items are just text, I wouldn't consider images to be too useful. I'm pretty happy with the way key item pages are now. --Enfield 12:58, 23 August 2006 (EDT)

Certainly not needed, but I have no problem if they are added - even slowly over time. --Gahoo 13:43, 23 August 2006 (EDT)

Agreed, add if you want, but don't slap an image-stub on it if its blank. Images are nice, but not needed. --Chrisjander 13:48, 23 August 2006 (EDT)

New Sorting

Now that key items are sorted into four categories (Temporary Key Items, Permanent Key Items, Claim Slips, and Magical Maps), we should probably add that information to each key item. --GAHOO t/ c 09:57, 6 June 2007 (CDT)

Do we want subcategories? --GAHOO t/ c 09:59, 6 June 2007 (CDT)
See "A Song of Love" as an example. --GAHOO t/ c 10:01, 6 June 2007 (CDT)

it should definitely be on each item's page, but i'm indifferent as to whether subcategories should be used. it depends on the number of items per category (which i'd imagine is quite a few, so subcategories seem appropriate). --Eleri 10:05, 6 June 2007 (CDT)

The example lays it out the way I think it should be managed. I like it, and think its rather appropriate. --TtOaXrIuCTC 10:10, 6 June 2007 (CDT)

Before we go ahead with this I think we'll implement a full page template. That way we can update everything at once and make everything standard. --GAHOO t/ c 10:11, 6 June 2007 (CDT)

Key Item Revamp Project

Ok. With the advent of the new subcategories, now is a great opportunity for us to revamp and standardize the key items. Template:Infobox Key Item has been created to do just that. Check out Template talk:Infobox Key Item for a sample and how to implement the template. This should be fairly straightforward but post here if you have any comments. --GAHOO t/ c 11:35, 6 June 2007 (CDT)

Only one subcategory is listed as a Sub-Category. You'll probably be faster in knowing how to change that, as there is already one sub-category in this Category might as well the other Key-Item sorting categories as subcategories to the Key Items Category. --Elvaron 15:51, 6 June 2007 (CDT)
They are all there. They are listed alphabetically. Hit the next 200 a few few times. --GAHOO t/ c 15:55, 6 June 2007 (CDT)
I see. Isn't that behaviour kind of not-helping to get an overview m(_ _)m ? --Elvaron 15:57, 6 June 2007 (CDT)

I'm seeing a lot of images for key items that have different cropping. Can there be some sort of implementaion in the image policy about Key Items? See below, left=no help text right=help text:

Boarding Permit vs. Bastok area --CharitwoTalk 22:12, 6 June 2007 (CDT)

I don't see the need for the help text, but the template works for both ways. On a 1280x1024 screen, with the help text a Key Item Picture will have 366x280 px, without is 366x248px. The question is simply to waste space or not to :) --Elvaron 17:15, 7 June 2007 (CDT)
I votw with only because the help text shows the sub-category. --GAHOO t/ c 23:22, 2 July 2007 (CDT)
