Sorry, but i deleted all the recipes that are only clothcraft as sub just because of the confusion they can bring.
sub<guild> recipe should *not* be in another section than the main guild. we'll that's in a well and normaly organized world. --Neobubu
something funky going on here with white slacks and HQ and crow/raven gear. i'd fix it but not sure how it should be to be honest. --Gahoo 10:51, 1 May 2006 (PDT)
Wooo, thanks for picking up on that XD Just got some names flipped all around and upside down it looks like. Should be fixed and accurate now ^_^ Thanks! --Rixie 11:38, 1 May 2006 (PDT)
Will someone Please re-enter all the recipes that the new guy went and deleted?? I am at work right now and don't have the time. --Nynaeve 08:36, 24 July 2006 (EDT)
It looks like the ones that were deleted are only clothcraft sub recipies. Is that right? And should they be here if so? --Gahoo 09:33, 24 July 2006 (EDT)
I think they should be. I know many of my friends that want to know everything they can make no matter if it requires another skill. I think if we want our recipe lists to be complete, we should include them. Some of those weren't Clothcraft Sub, but they all did have another skill needed and that shouldn't exclude them from this recipe list. Do we want our recipe lists to half-assed and incomplete or do we want them to be as accurate as possible? I would vote in favor of being complete as possible. We should include ALL recipes, whether sub or included with another craft. For example. I have a friend with most of the Crafts at 60 and right now he is trying to decide which way to go. He has been looking at all the crafts and having them ALL listed gives him a better idea of which he wants to bring up, if he brings up Leathercraft for example, he would prolly want clothcraft and would like to look at both Clothcraft and Leathercraft lists and see which ones would be best. I strongly think these recipe lists should include ALL recipes that use said craft. --Nynaeve 09:41, 24 July 2006 (EDT)
Reverted changes. --Gahoo 09:46, 24 July 2006 (EDT)
I agree it's important to have subcraft recipes in the crafting lists. I will often use those when leveling a skill, since I like finding recipes that will level two skills at the same time, or will level the subcraft when I'm already past the level on the main craft. I'd rather error on the side of too much information rather than not enough. --Tsakiki 10:21, 24 July 2006 (EDT)
The question is not how other sites do this but whether the having subcraft information is helpful on the craft page. I don't think it is confusing in the manner it is currently listed. It is easy to see that you need another craft and whether the other is higher or lower. Can you get a skill-up on a subcraft? --Gahoo 12:09, 24 July 2006 (EDT)
You can get skillups on a subcraft --Chrisjander 12:10, 24 July 2006 (EDT)
Then IMO they certainly belong here. --Gahoo 12:11, 24 July 2006 (EDT)
Perhaps we should separate them, create 2 parts of each skill section, so you're separating the recipes that only require clothcraft, and those that require other craft skills. --Chrisjander 12:14, 24 July 2006 (EDT)
Perhaps having this key at the top can eliminate confusion. I also have a link to this from the forums. --Chrisjander 12:34, 24 July 2006 (EDT)
||<Crystal Used>||<Ingredient List>||<HQ results listed>||<Skill Cap>|
Other possible differentiations
Perhaps color and/or text change, such as italicizing the ones that aren't main craft. see example --Chrisjander 13:33, 24 July 2006 (EDT)
My thoughts on breaking off the recipes.
I think the "revamp" unnecessarily breaks off the recipes from the Clothcraft article, it was nice having everything on one page without having to separately load the recipes section. (--Jenice 02:15, 4 February 2008 (UTC))
While it was nice having it all in one place, it severely overloaded the size of the page. The craft pages had grown to the point where it was taking an incredibly long time to load, and on some computers caused browser errors. They were split up out of necessity to facilitate the overall functionality of the page. --◄Chrisjander► t/ c 04:50, 4 February 2008 (UTC)
added selbina and al zahbi guild merchants!
Changed Spinning wheel to artistan as I was able to purchase it with the apron. --[[User:ceown|ceown]
