some people think that the weaknesses are random and/or depending on the day that they are poped/fought. there is a table for weaknesses on the abyssea talk page. --Icari 10:45, July 23, 2010 (UTC)
The definition is very vague on wheather or not you lose the atma upon activating it for the 1 stay in abyssea. It says for the duration of your stay, but the HP boost is for the duration of your stay and you can get it each time. What I'm asking is can you just get the atma once, and activate it every time you enter from then on?--Strikereleven 02:21, September 7, 2010 (UTC)
You don't lose an atma after being infused with it. At least not the ones you get from the Atma Infusionist. I don't think you 'have' to proc a red weakness to get atma. May want to modify the main page because saying you 'must' proc a weakness to get it isn't true. I received the atma from chukwa without ever meleeing him nor using a single ws. My assumption is that it is a rare drop unless you proc a red.--Seku 18:06, September 15, 2010 (UTC)
I can confirm that atma works on SMN avatars. My Garuda should not be able to keep up with me when I have the movement speed atma unless this were true. --Drhatchet 18:42, September 22, 2010 (UTC)
I stuck verification tags on WSs that haven't been reported to proc !!s by multiple people. The 13 unlabeled WSs are likely the only 13 that can cause Red !!s. -Byrthnoth 17:29, October 7, 2010 (UTC)
"If you Call for Help after triggering a weakness and claim it after it has gone yellow, the monster is considered "fresh" and a new weakness must be triggered with a different Weapon Skill." my question is this. Is it the same for the yellow !! that trigger more seals? And what if your are doing a kite strat and it unaggros? do you need to hit the weakness again or would it still be in effect?Sephy123 05:55, October 20, 2010 (UTC)
Sephy123 if you wipe after triggering and loose hate I think it will be "Fresh" if you have aggro but lost exclusive claim then I think it still will hold. I Think if it rages and you let it get to 100% after triggering you have to trigger again also. Exzir 16:06, October 23, 2010 (UTC)
Question: Can weakness still proc if the mob absorbs damage or the attack does 0 damage? I know the T3 goldfish type VNM in Abyssea - Vunkerl called Ketea absorbs all elemental damage when his mouth is closed and will only take elemental damage when he opens it, which is after he uses TP move Rapid Molt.
During an Abyssea NM run, we mistakenly had the atma drop to the popper, outside of alliance. Thinking this was a glitch, we attempted the theory again with a different NM with repeated results. The atma will drop to whatever party the popper is currently in. If they are not in a party, only they will get it. NM's fought were Briareus and Hadhayosh in La Thiene.
Verification on synthetic atma acquisition
- Atma of the Ace Angler - I have access to this atma, but I'm only lv 47 Fishing. I do have Lu Shang's rod, obtained via the quest. I have also ranked in the top 20 in fish ranking. But I suspect this atma comes from the Inside the Belly quest, by trading a Silver Shark - doing this grants you the title "Ace Angler".
- I also have access to this atma. I am level 40 fishing, have no Lu Shang Rod(only 1000~ Moat carps turned in) and I never had a Silver Shark in my possession. Maybe you have to fish up a NM.-Nomido 20:41, December 9, 2010 (UTC)
- I also have the Ace Angler atma, level 42 fishing. I am 8000 fish into my Lu Shang's, not finished with it so it can't be that. I've also ranked in the top 20 for fish ranking. - Regarding Ace Angler: I was able to get this Atma, and I basically never fish. I only have 11 fishing skill (enough to catch Moat Carp), and I have never even done "Inside the Belly", or competed in any kind of fish ranking. However I do have (and have used) a Lu Shang's rod, acquired by completing the quest in Sandy. If others without this quest or even the rod, can get this atma, then I have no clue what it could come from, because as I said, I've done no fishing-related activities other than the LS rod quest. Perhaps there are multiple ways of obtaining it? or (less likely) it actually has nothing to do with fishing at all. -- Divinius 18:46, January 6, 2011 (UTC)

- Personally, I've only ever fought Ouryu in the COP missions and Fafnir/Nid and I have access to this also. If I had to guess, I'd say it came from Fafnir while Behemoth/Adamantoise both have one but Fafnir's is currently unknown. --†Hitetsu 10:29, December 9, 2010 (UTC)

Atmas of Revalations and Dark Blade
Just got Revelations and Dark Blade from completing the Benevolence Lost quest in Abyssea - Grauberg. Completed all other quests and Dominion Ops before doing the quest, and checked the Atma Fabricant, who told me that I did not have access to either yet. Then did Benevolence Lost and immediately gained access to both, after.
I'm certain that one of them is completion of all Quests and Ops at Camp #2, which means the other should be Full Complete of all Quests and Ops. Best guess is that Dark Blade is the Full Complete Atma because it costs 200 Cruor more, but can't confirm. Further, I don't have full complete of Atmas or Abyssites in Grauberg, so these don't seem to be required for completion. 01:57, January 13, 2011 (UTC)~
