Introduced in the August 2022 Version Update, this equipment further upgrades the +1 reforged armor to new heights.
Prerequisites[]
Players must have participated in Sortie at least once as the job for which you want to reforge the armor. Sortie has its own prerequisites that must be met:
- Have completed Adoulin Mission Chapter 5 (up through The Light Within).
- Be in possession of the
Scintillating Rhapsody.
Starting the Process[]
Speak with Ruspix in Leafallia (H-8).
Reforging requires currency known as gallimaufry as well as Ra'Kaznar Sapphires. Gallimaufry is awarded for defeating normal monsters, roaming NMs and area bosses, as well as for opening caskets/chests/coffers in Sortie.
Ra'Kaznar Sapphires are occasional personal loot from any blue casket, red coffer, aurum coffer, or area NM in Sortie. Ra'Kaznar sapphies may also be purchased from Ruspix for 15,000 gallimaufry each.
When you are ready to begin upgrading your Reforged Empyrean Armor +1, trade a piece of it to Ruspix with one Ra'Kaznar Sapphire. If you have enough gallimaufry, Ruspix will deduct the required 10,000 to begin work. Your upgraded piece will be ready the next Vana'diel day.
