Revision as of 02:25, 1 April 2005
Set of armor unique to each job obtained via a set of quests and coffers. Each set is known to make a character look like a character of that job in previous Final Fantasy games. Their main function, however, is to increase the job-defining stats or abilities of the class.
The first piece of actual artifact armor is wearable at level 52 (except the atrifact weapon which is at level 40). The next is at 54, next at 56, 58, and finally 60. The armor is for head, body, hands, legs and feet only.
There is also another set of artifact armor that is obtained through somewhat rare Dynamis drops that are wearable at level 71, 72, 73, 74, and 75. These are (of course) seemingly even better than the first set.
