Spawn Conditions[]
- Spawned by using Baba Yaga's
Shimmering Pixie Pinion and La Theine Liege's Pellucid Fly Eye on one of the three ??? at (H-7).
- Nearby Farfadets cure Carabosse if they see her.
- Carabosses being fought by separate alliances can fully heal each other with Benediction if they are too close.
Traits and Abilities[]
First phase:
- Lethe Arrows
- Benediction - can use at any point
Second Phase (starts after using benediction):
- Spring Breeze- Changes to Red Mage, focusing her spells on Enhancing Magic like Protect V, Shell V, and Stoneskin. Gains access to Breakga. Also uses her "Arrow" abilities.
- Summer Breeze- Changes to Warrior, gains Double Attack, and uses Cyclonic Torrent, and Cyclonic Turmoil exclusively. During this time, she acquires the Regain status, so dispel Carabosse as soon as she switches to this mode.
- Autumn Breeze- Changes to White Mage and uses Cure V and Cure VI very often. Absorbs magic damage.
- Winter Breeze- Changes to Black Mage and uses high-level wind Elemental Magic, including Aero V, Aero IV, Aeroga III, Tornado, and Tornado II with considerable Fast Cast. Elemental Magic deals considerably more damage than normal.
- Carabosse's job and resistances in the second phase appear to be based on the type of season she uses. She also has 50% total damage reduction of both physical and magic damage after using Benediction.
- Regain (10 TP per tick)
- Auto Regen
- Rages after 60 minutes.
- Enspells heal Carabosse when in WHM mode.
Derivations[]
The wicked fairy godmother, a figure rare in fairy tales, is nevertheless among best-known figures from such tales because of her appearance in one of the most widely known tales, Sleeping Beauty, and in the ballet derived from it. Anonymous in her first appearance, she was later named in some variants Carabosse, and in others Maleficent.
