The blue Bloodsucker spawns randomly throughout the entire map.
Notes (Bostaunieux Oubliette)
- The NM leech can be distinguished from the other Bloodsuckers in the area by its blue skin and size, since it is slightly larger than the regular Bloodsuckers. Unlike the other Bloodsuckers, this one will check as "Impossible to Gauge."
- Spawns randomly throughout the third map, exactly 72 hours after its last time of death or 21-24 hours after server maintenance ends.
- Wide Scan is highly recommended to find and claim this NM, if claim competition is present.
- This leech always appears as the last Bloodsucker on Wide Scan, below all the normal Bloodsuckers.
- Unless it has been killed, the last normal Bloodsucker usually appears in the room in the northeast corner of the map. If the final Bloodsucker in the list is not in that corner, either the Bloodsuckers in that area have been killed, or it is the NM.
- Has an Additional Effect of Drain on normal attacks. Unlike Blood Weapon, it actually adds additional damage to the attack instead of simply draining the normal damage dealt.
- Can be defeated by a party of 6 level 70 characters; Soloable by Monk, Thief, Red Mage, and Black Mage at level 75. (see testimonials)

- The Armoury Crate it leaves behind contains a ??? Ring, which may rarely appraise into a Bloodbead Ring.
