Walkthrough
- Head to Beaucedine Glacier (S) (H-9) (down the ramp from the C.A. position, near the edge of the cliff) examine the regal pawprints for a cutscene.
- After the cutscene, check the regal pawprints to start the fight. This is similar to The Long March North quest for Windurst Waters (S) in that the fight will start right after you check the regal pawprints and having instant agro on a player.
- After fight check the regal pawprints for another cutscene. If you zone before checking the regal pawprints the demons will respawn and must be fought again.
Fight
- Will be fighting 5 demons. 4 Dark Demons and Count Halphas.
- You will lose xp upon death so buffing and reraise are suggested before popping.
- You can have an alliance to fight these nm's, but can be done with 4+ if 1 is a blm for sleepga.
- You can win with only 2 people if one is a pld and the second any job with AoE sleepga capability, sleeper pops then casts their sleepga while the pld takes Count Halphas to the ramp leading to the C.A. The sleeper only needs to use a form of retrace then teleport back to the C.A and help the pld fight Count Halphas.
- You only need to kill Count Halphas and the rest will depop.
- The wandering mobs around the pawprints CAN aggro you.
- Be careful! If you decide to sleep the surrounding Dark Demons, they will wake up whenever Halphas casts a spell! Be cautious about this, as it can cost you the fight otherwise.
