Talk with Thierride to start the quest. Obtain two Lufet Salt by defeating River Crabs in West Ronfaure at the Knightwell. Travel back to Southern San d'Oria (S) and trade Thierride one Lufet Salt for a cutscene then trade another for another cutscene. Wait until midnight (Game time) [though I zoned as well] before talking to him again for your reward.
