This merit is no longer in the game since the Sep 16 2015 version update.
It has been replaced by Repair Effect.

Merit Point Enhancement

*Category: Job-specific - Group 1 (Puppetmaster) Limit: 5 levels (Merit Point progression: 1>2>3>4>5 Total cost: 15 Points) Description: Each level of this enhancement increases the Automaton's effective Automaton Magic Skill by 2 points, with a maximum bonus of +10 at level 5. Note: You may notice the automaton begin to gain skillups after applying this upgrade. The automaton is still working with the full bonus given, despite appearing to need to skill up to it. Verified with having 249 skill and one merit. Unlocked Fire III. The Spiritreaver Head and Stormwaker Frame will gain access to Fire IV with 281 Automaton Magic Skill which needs 3 merit levels and Blizzard IV with 286 Automaton Magic Skill which needs 5 merit levels to Automaton Magic Skill. It should be noted, that unlike Combat Skill merits, the Puppet Ranged, Magic, and Melee skills will not scale in capped environments.
