Notes:

- Located on first map (J-10).
- Has a lot of HP, but very low defense (Estimated 16,000 to 17,000HP).
- Links with the other Shadow in the room, which respawn every 16 minutes.
- Uses Manafont.
- Uses all black magic spells, including Dispel and Tier 3 and 4 nukes. Will also casts tier 3 -ga spells (Waterga III verified.)
- Has an En-Aspir effect on physical attacks that is very potent.
- Resists Silence, Stun, and Sleep; can be Paralyzed, Slowed, Bound, Gravitied, and Flashed.
- Will use Dimensional Death when at low health, sometimes doing it 2 to 3 times in a row.
- Killable by: Party of 3-6 level 75 characters, an alliance of 18 level 65 characters, solo by Lv.75 NIN/DNC with minor difficulties from -ga spells, solo by 75 SMN ( Carby kite ) or 72 RDM/NIN, Duoable by 75 SAM/NIN & 55 WHM, Party: 75DRG/SAM, 75WHM/BLM, 57WHM/BLM using Benediction x2, Spirit Surge and Devotion (with some difficulties).
- When defeated says: "It is finally...over..Ahh... I can... I can see... Tavnazia... The land of wind ... and light... My... My home...!"
- Altedour I Tavnazia was the Marquis of the Marquisate of Tavnazia prior to its destruction.
- Has very high accuracy, but attacks very slow. Full haste gear was more beneficial than evasion gear for NIN tanking.
This NM appears to have extremely strong elemental resistance, 2 BLM 75 emptied thier MP pool (TaruTaru and Elvaan) and only caused 10-15% damage
