Allied Notes are the Campaign system's version of Conquest Points or Imperial Standing. You can view how many Allied Notes you currently have by using the in-game menu category "Regional Info" under the topic "Campaign," or simply typing /cmap.

Unlike Signet and Sanction, you do not earn Allied Notes while earning experience points, regardless whether you have Sigil active or not. Allied Notes are earned by participating in the Campaign storyline.

Known ways of gaining Allied Notes:

Teleportation[]

  • The cost to teleport from an Allied nation to a field area varies depending on three conditions.
    • Depending on the zone you wish to teleport to, there is a base cost which varies depending on the zone's distance from the closest Allied nation:
      • North Gustaberg, East Ronfaure, West Sarutabaruta: 20
      • Grauberg, Vunkerl Inlet, Fort Karugo-Narugo, Jugner Forest: 30
      • Pashhow Marshlands Forst, Meriphataud Mountains: 40
      • Rolanberry Fields, Batallia Downs, Sauromugue Champaign: 50
      • Beaucedine Glacier, Xarcabard: 60
    • Additionally, there's a control cost if your nation does not control the zone. If the zone is under Allied control (but not your nation), the control cost is 20 Allied Notes. If the zone is under Beastmen control, the control cost is 40 Allied Notes instead.
    • Finally, if you're using teleportation from another nation, there's a 20% surcharge on top of the cost. For example, a person with Bastok allegiance teleporting from San d'Oria to West Sarutabaruta under Windurst control would have to pay ( 20 (base cost) + 20 (non-own nation allied control cost ) ) * 1.2 (surcharge for teleporting from another nation) = 48 Allied Notes.
  • The cost to return to your nation of allegiance follows a simpler rule:
    • The base cost is 10 Allied Notes.
    • The control cost follows the same formula as the above one.
    • Sum of the base and the control cost determines the cost of teleportation.

Switching Nation[]

  • If you haven't done the missions of a given nation you can switch to that nation for free without penalty.
  • However, if you wish to return to a nation you have joined previously, you can do so by talking to the NPC in the nation you wish to rejoin. The cost of rejoining is 2 ranks and 300 allied notes. If you don't have more than 2 ranks to give, it will place you at the lowest rank.
