Spawned by trading a Trophy Shield to the ??? at C-4 at the north end of the valley populated by Bathyal Gigas, around the corner and out of sight of the mobs.
Increased Double Attack rate and "Enspell" effect following use of Impact Roar. Effects are removed following Grand Slam.

Always uses a pattern of moves beginning with Impact Roar, eventually followed by successive uses of Grand Slam.
Following Impact Roar, Adamastor gains an undispellable Enspell effect as well as a sharp increase to Double Attack rate. These effects persist until Adamastor uses a series of Grand Slams, after which his attacks return to normal and the cycle repeats.
Adamastor is the name of a giant in the Portuguese epic Os Lusíadas, meant to represent the hardships inflicted by nature and geography that sea ship crews face during difficult trips.
