Summary: Guard -> Cid (Metalworks, tester) -> Left S.Gusta -> Dangruf (go right for geyser) -> Cid

Walkthrough

1. Talk to a Bastok Gate Guard to receive the mission.
2. (Metalworks) Talk to Cid (H-8), inside Cid's Lab, for a Blue Acidity Tester.
3. (South Gustaberg) Go to (D-9) the Dangrud Wadi entrance.

   

   (S.Gustaberg) Dangruf is all the way on the left.

4. (Dangruf Wadi) Go to geyser at (I-8) and stand on the geyser to jump up the ledge.

   

   Dangruf Wadi

   • Just hug the right/North wall after entering, it's a short walk and you'll know when you reach the ledge.
   • This will change the Blue Acidity Tester to the Red Acidity Tester.
     • No message will be displayed in the log to inform you of this; you may wish to check your Temporary Key Items to verify the change before leaving the area.
   • There are 2 Goblins in the geyser area, and 1 right before the geyser area.
     • They are level 5-8 and will sight-Aggro to players under level 15 unless they are Invisible.
     • The geyser can take minutes to spout you up, so be ready to fight or have invisible.
     • You can purchase Circumspection from the Grounds Tome by the entrance for 5 tabs.
5. (Metalworks) Return to Cid to complete the mission.
