Enjoy a new chapter in The Voracious Resurgence, fresh foes to tackle in Ambuscade, and additions to Odyssey.

Event-related

• A new chapter has been added to The Voracious Resurgence.
  
  Players must speak to Halver in Chateau d’Oraguille after having completed the quest The Doll Whisperer to proceed.
• The monthly Records of Eminence objectives have been swapped out.
• New designations have been added.

Battle-related

• Ambuscade has undergone the following additions and adjustments.
    
  • The foes in Normal and Intense Ambuscades have been swapped out.
    * As such, the corresponding Records of Eminence objectives have changed.
  • Certain items obtainable in exchange for hallmarks have been swapped out.
  • Certain items obtainable for total hallmarks have been swapped out.
  • Certain items obtainable in exchange for badges of gallantry have been swapped out.
• New foes have been added to Sheol: Gaol in Odyssey.
  Defeating these foes will reward you with the ability to purchase multiple pieces of equipment.
     
  In the Gaol, players will battle fierce monsters to earn currency that can be used to augment equipment.
  • Requirements for Participation
    • Have completed the Records of Eminence objective Sheol C.
    • Be in a party whose members all have three or more jobs at level 99 and all participating players have non-duplicate jobs.
    • Be in possessions of a Moglophone II key item.
    • Have defeated all monsters in Atonements 1 and 2.
  • Augmenting Equipment
    • Purchased equipment may be augmented using reinforcement points earned by defeating the appropriate monster at Vengeance +1 or higher.

Item Related

• New items have been added.
  * Gleti’s Boots, a footwear item added this update, only has its “Pet: Lv, +1” effect apply when the player has an item level weapon equipped in the main hand.
• The winning entry from the Shield Design Contest 2020 has been added as a login campaign reward.
  
• New items can be stored via the Porter Moogle.

System-Related

• The linkshell concierge has undergone an overhaul.
  • After the February 20, 2021 Version Update, information newly registered with the concierges will not disappear even after server maintenances.
  • Currently stationed linkshell concierges and chat manuals have been removed.
  • Linkshell concierges and chat manuals can now be found in the following locations.

Resolved Issues

• The issue wherein the Automaton: DMG+10 effect of the Neo Animator failed to apply to ranged attacks.
• The issue with the ??? in Rabao (G-6) wherein the dialog option to not purchase items would fail to appear under certain conditions.
• The issue with Nyzul Isle wherein tokens would fail to be earned/held in the proper amounts.
  * In order to fix this issue, the maximum number of tokens has been changed to one billion.
• Various issues with incorrect dialogue and help text.

Known Issues

• In the Sheol: Gaol section of Odyssey, plays will remain in boss areas under certain conditions.
  * Players affected by this issue will be able to return to Rabao by using the appropriate temporary item.
• In the quest Treasures of Aht Urhgan, players trading mythic weapons are unable to progress if they possess a mythic weapon of the same name.
• Players are unable to view the Mog Report in Odyssey under certain conditions.
• Various issues with incorrect help text.
