≪Mar. 23, 2010 (JST) Update Details≫ *Japan Standard Time Event-related  New areas have been made accessible in past Vana'diel.  New Wings of the Goddess missions have been added.  New in-game content "Trial of the Magians" has been added. "Trial of the Magians" is the title given to a new quest series designed especially for level 75 characters. To initiate a quest in Trial of the Magians, players must speak with the "Magian Moogle" NPC located at H-5 in the Ru'Lude Gardens.  Several new quests, including those granting the ability to summon the new avatars, Alexander and Odin, have been added.  The following changes have been made to Moblin Maze Mongers: The reward for completing the Aquatic Depopulation Team objective has been adjusted.  New hunt objectives have been added to Hunt Registries.  New fish varieties have been added for the quest "Inside the Belly."  To view certain event replay scenes in the "Saga of the Skyserpent" quest, players must now go to the Wajaom Woodlands (M-7) instead of Aht Urhgan Whitegate (E-8). Battle-related  The distribution of certain monsters has been adjusted in the following area: Xarcabard [S]  The following changes have been made to Campaign: The following areas may now host Campaign Battles: Castle Zvahl Baileys [S] / Castle Zvahl Keep [S] New Campaign decorations have been unlocked, and new items obtainable by trading Allied Notes added. New Campaign Ops have been added. Player evaluation for completing a Campaign Ops objective has been adjusted. The strength of the Shadowsoul Battalion has been adjusted.  Several new Notorious Monsters have been added. To accommodate this addition, the new NPC "Assai Nybaem" has been posted to the Ru'Lude Gardens (G-10). *Players wishing to battle the new set of Notorious Monsters added this version update should speak to this NPC.  The depop conditions for the following Notorious Monsters have been adjusted: Oupire / Scylla / Zirnitra / Lugh / Elatha / Buarainech / Tethra / Ethniu  The repop counter has been shortened for Notorious Monsters spawned via the "???" targets in the following locations: Ru'Aun Gardens / Ve'Lugannon Palace / Shrine of Ru'Avitau  With the addition of the new avatars, Alexander and Odin, summoners are now able to use the "Astral Flow" job ability even when no avatars have been invoked.  The following changes have been made to puppetmaster: Hand-to-hand combat rating has been raised from rank C to B+. The puppetmaster's level will now be factored into the extent that maneuvers enhance automaton stats. :*The rate of enhancement will be adjusted for when puppetmaster is used as a support job, or when a level restriction is in place. The effects of the following attachments have been adjusted: Armor Plate / Armor Plate II / Auto-Repair Kit / Auto-Repair Kit II / Mana Tank / Mana Tank II The performance of automaton frames has been adjusted. The ranged accuracy of automatons is no longer affected by distance to the target. Item-related  Items obtainable from Treasure Caskets have been overhauled. Evolith and other new items have been added. Other revisions have been made to available items.  The reward items obtainable with Conquest Points have been altered as follows: Grand Knight's arrow -> Temple Knight's quiver Gold Musketeer's bolt -> Iron Musketeer's quiver Patriarch Protector's arrow -> Combat Caster's quiver *These new enchanted items can produce ammunition with identical attributes to the former items. *Players possessing the former items may trade them to a Conquest Overseer to receive the new items.  Several pieces of new equipment have been added.  New synthesis recipes have been added.  The following changes have been made to the Synergy system: The synergy skill level cap has been raised to 60 (Journeyman). Synthesis skill bonuses granted by equipment and furnishings are now taken into account when performing synergy. New elemental traits selectable when etching evolith apertures have been added. (*certain weapons excluded) New types of evolith have been added. Synergy furnaces have been removed from Lower Jeuno. Furthermore, the crystal feeding period for certain seeds has been changed to two days (Earth time).  The following changes have been made to chocobo breeding:  When taking their chocobo for a walk, players will now be given the option to take a "leisurely" or "brisk" walk. A "leisurely" walk will show the usual event scene, while a "brisk" walk will display only text. *This choice will not affect the benefits received from the walk itself. Miscellaneous  The following changes have been made to the "A Crystalline Prophecy", "A Moogle Kupo d'Etat", and "A Shantotto Ascension" add-on scenarios: Certain key items necessary to progress through the add-on scenarios are now available for purchase from the NPC Squintrox Dryeyes (Port Jeuno, G-8). *These items will only be available to players for whom the following mission names are visible in the mission log for the corresponding scenario(s). A Crystalline Prophecy -> A Crystalline Prophecy (Fin.) A Moogle Kupo d'Etat -> A Moogle Kupo d'Etat (Fin.) A Shantotto Ascension -> A Shantotto Ascension (Fin.) The maximum attribute values, as well as the chance of receiving high-attribute augments have been increased. The chances of receiving augmented items as a reward have also been raised. Corrected Issues  An issue in which the maximum allowed movement speed could be exceeded under certain conditions has been corrected.  An issue in which the synergy technique "Lunar Smarts" did not consume the same type of fuel as the current day of the week has been corrected.  An issue in which items placed atop the "Tavern Bench" furnishing were not displaying as intended has been corrected.  An issue in which other furnishings could be placed on top of the "Spence" furnishing has been corrected.  An issue wherein changing areas while having claim over a synergy furnace had unintended consequences has been corrected.
