I'm ReverieCode, a Community Manager from Fandom recently assigned here to provide assistance, or give any relevant update - today, I'm here for the latter :)

You may or may not know, but for the past few months Fandom has been performing different experiments with the Interactive Maps, such as adding a feature that allows users to track their personal progress interacting with the markers on a map. One of the previous limitations we had for the initial release was the storage of progress data, which was done via local storage in each user browser.

Starting next Monday May 27, we’re starting to save marker progress tracking in our own database, using Fandom accounts. This change would avoid anyone losing previous progress, and also allows for people to switch across devices while keeping this progress tracking updated. Because the data is saved in Fandom accounts, the feature is only available to logged-in users.

This should be an interesting update, since anyone using an interactive map (at any wiki with the progress tracking feature) to keep track of a game's collectibles they have by checking markers would then keep that progress tied to their account, no matter what.

If there's any feedback or questions for this, I'm happy to relay it to the people working on the feature. In general, maps continue to be worked on - with other ideas in the pipeline to make them more useful.

Is there any way to fix it so that pages with night mode enabled don't have invisible text. A lot of charts have white text on white background when night mode is on.

Recently there has been what can be described as an onslaught of Rated-R advertising content that cannot effectively be blocked, basically on every page. It isn't even suggestive violence. It's full-blown watching an animation of human or animal characters being brutalized. Having lived through a situation like this, it isn't my favourite thing to be scrolling and then suddenly be thrown into a dissasociative flashback for x-amount of time because of a stupid little box that I can't get rid of. Keep the ads - make your money, but the fact that ad content keeps sliding more a more towards Rated R and X content makes me want to offload the information on this site onto other sites so that I don't have to experience these shocks anymore. Your money that you are already making should be incentive to Do better. Thank you for listening.

I hate the new arrangement of the gobbie point list. First off if you're looking in a list to see how many points a certain thing is, sorting it into how many points each thing gives is useless. having the list sorted alphabetically like it used to be was much more convenient. now one has to look through four individually, alphabetically sorted lists instead of just one. This is redundant to say the least. Sometimes I think people overthink think things. Put it back to the way it was. Also as a side note, it makes it much more difficult to edit. If viewers want the option to gather like items (points wise) together then have a data base sorter on the table highest to lowest or lowest to highest. Easy Peasy.

The links are broken

So i was trying to get to the "Waist" category by clicking on the link on the shamans belt page and it took me to an absolute waste(no pun intended) of a page in which the entire page could just be the header for the waist category page. can we get rid of these such pages and just have them link to the categories and maybe just actually make their descriptions the headers?
